nci logo Cancer is a language all its own. By that I mean, there is a huge vocabularly of terms associated with the disease. The NCI Dictionary of Cancer Terms contains more than 3,500 terms related to cancer and medicine. Simply type the word or phrase you are looking for in the search box and click "Go".

Using this, the next time your doctor drops one of those big medical terms, you can explain to her what it means.
