good, the hopeful moments - the mostly pleasant and life-affirming moments - she encounters along the way. Illuminade
points her readers to the story of Abigail
"Nabby" Adams, daughter of United States president John Adams. In 1811, when Nabby Adams was 42 years
old, she discovered a lump in her breast. The essay of her breast cancer experience, two hundred years ago, the medical

1. Thank you for sharing this link. Have you seen my breast cancer blog? It was reviewed on the front page of the personal section last July along with a (postage-stamp size) full-color reproduction of one of my fish paintings I did while undergoing radiation. I get such appreciative emails from women going through the breast cancer. A single, self-supporting artist over sixty, I use art and writing to deal with mine. Perhaps you could check it out. I found you on my breast cancer news update on my home page, but my blog has never been mentioned there. Check it out? Thanks so much. Mary
