1. Thanks so much for this book referral. I just ordered it from Amazon. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in October - the same day her first grandchild was born - she kept it a secret for over a week so as not to "ruin" the joy of the birth! I was devestated! She is now going through her treatments and could not be more cheerful about it. Her positive attitude has been an inspiration to all of us, and it's been hard to get upset with her continuously joking about how the radiation seems to have improved her cooking! She sent me some chocolate last week - it's so cool! It's called Survivor Chick from http://www.chickchocolates.com. She apparently saw it on the Food Network and immediately loaded up to pass out at the hospital to all of her caregivers. It has the cutest packaging - and the chocolate is fantastic! A nice little pick-me-up - and 100% of the profits go to cancer research. I'm really looking forward to getting thsi book and sharing it with my sister.
Thanks again!
