Kevin Sanders, who blogs Kevin on Fashion, has become a fashion designer success, dressing famous
celebrities for the Oscars, Tony's, Grammy's, Golden Globes, SAG and People's Choice Awards. But sometimes, just
sometimes, being a professional success can feel somehow empty when it does not include a deeper personal meaning of
fulfillment. Sanders felt unfulfilled, and this feeling frayed the edges of his fashion designing accomplishments, until one day, he realized what he needed to do. To honor Howard Lee Sanders, his father and hero, Kevin decided to launch a fashion company, Howard Lee, Inc., and donate part of the profits each year to the Leukemia Society. Howard Sanders, who was his son's greatest champion in life, who always believed in his son's abilities to succeed, died of leukemia before Kevin Sanders became a fashion designer success. Kevin hopes the donations will help lead to a leukemia cure so that no one else has to lose their hero.
