1. May your life, both personaly and professionaly, proceed with no further distractions of this nature. No-one needs more than one speed bump in life. You've done so much, for so many, that people around the country don't hear or know about. Such as performing a few numbers for the kids at Boston Childrens Hospital a few years ago. 2. Sheryl, I feel your pain, I have just had colon cancer surgery and waiting for the second part of my surgery. You are in my prayers and I wish you a fast recovery. Only those that are experiencing and living the word cancer patient,have only one thought at present, just to become listed as a cancer survivor!

3. i can tell you from experience fight the cancer with all you got.
in 1999 at age 33 i found out i had stage 2 breast cancer. i was scared beyond belief.
i had a 10 and a 3 yr old girls i am happy to say i will watch the oldest 1 graduate.
the most importatnte lesson i learned was to slow down and enjoy my kids and my husband, because i almost lost the chance.
the chemo and radition sucked,but i made the most of being bald and i had fun with that part.
i didn't wear a wig just scarfs or went around bald however i felt that day.

6. My close friend has been fighting breast cancer for many years, beating it and continuing to overcome this, close friends and colleges are amazed at how she manages to cope. Her personality is wonderful she copes with such a care free attitude, she takes each day as it comes and by having a mental positive carefree attitude. She’s a survivor simply because she doesn’t let it beat her. You really have to reach within and that with the right attitude you can overcome this. You can’t fear it or worry to the extreme you just need to be positive and let the bad days go and concentrate on all the other mundane issues of your daily life and carry on.

7. You are in my prayers. I was dignoised with Breast Cancer In Sept 2002. I had chemo and radiation. You can make it but you have to be positive. There will be days that you think that you will not be able to make it, but you can.

9. I had breast cancer in 1986 at age 35. I am 55 now. Twenty years cancer free. I also caught it early and opted for a mastectomy (which I do not regret)... I could have gone with a lumpectomy and radiation. We each have to do what is best for ourselves. My thoughts are with you.

I was sorry to hear that you were diagonsed with breast cancer. I too am a survivor. It will be 5 years this July. Hang in there. It seems like you have many friends and family supporters. It is important to have them around. I went through chemo for 6 months and then 8 weeks of radiation. I understand that you don't need chemo, but do need radiation. You are in my prayers and I feel that you are going to be just fine. Stay well.

You are awesome, I love your quote it's not having what you want, it's wanting what you have. I also have the same type of Breast Cancer as you. I am haveing a tough time deciding between standard radiation for 6 weeks and the mammosite. Can you share with me why you decided on the standard? I have to decide by 4/17.

12. Cheryl - like many who have written you, I am a fan of yours - because of the joy you spread through who you are as a human being, and the music you create... which is a living work of art. You have an endless amount of well-wishers, support in your friends and family, and good advice from professional I'm am sure. What I want to say, and you're a wiser woman than I am, is that don't forget to give yourself permission to say, "this sucks", or if you feel like crying for 1/2 a day, do it! But you will come out on the bright end of the spectrum of the wisdom in this lesson too. Sometimes cheerful messages, when you've had a difficult experience, just don't quite hit the spot. Always be true to your intuition - trust that - it seems you do. You truly are an inspiration to millions of others - not that you chose to be one through this experience. But I think it's all the goodness that will come from your strength and experience that you share with others - you'll never know how powerfully you've affected others' lives.

I never fealt sadder. I had the opportunity in the eighties to work in one of the most prestigous hospitols in America. I changed bed pans, took temperatures and help make bed sheets. I worked at Bethesda Naval Hospitol in the early eighties. I helped on several wards. One was dedicated to cancer. In particular Breast Cancer. The women were young and beautiful. The next day all new patients. The one's before had went to the morque. God Sheryl hope they cure you well Daniel

Noise from a distance becomes increasing more intrusive with each passing heart beat. Shivering from an earlier dive for food in the schuykill river. Sheminoch strains removing the crystal from the leather. He smiles wiping his chin easing the stone towards the light.
