Will Swetnam is a 15 year
non-hodgkins lymphoma cancer survivor. Ten years ago, he lost his father to prostate cancer. Swetnam is the Cyclists Combating Cancer, CCC, webmaster and list serve moderator. The CCC is a
group of cancer survivors, and their families and friends, who offer cancer survivorship support to one another and who
share a passion for cycling. CCC members are all ages, and at all levels of skill, when it comes to cycling - from road
riding, and mountain biking, to triathlons. The CCC group fosters close bonds within the group, sharing moments of joy and sadness, and inspiring a strength within each other to face the special issues of cancer survivorship. If cancer has touched your life, the CCC invites you to join their peloton.
In addition to the CCC work that Swetnam does, he is a six-year volunteer for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, LAF, who always makes time to counsel friends and friends of friends who are diagnosed with cancer.
