Patsy Ramsey: mother of murdered child JonBenet dies

Patsy Ramsey, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1993, and suffered a recurrence of cancer in 2003, has lost her life to cancer. Ramsey is the mother of murdered child beauty pageant winner JonBenet, whose beaten and strangled body was found by her father John Ramsey in the basement of her family's home in Boulder, Colorado. JonBenet's murder remains unsolved and while her parents insisted that an unknown intruder entered the home, her parents were extensively investigated as possible suspects in the murder. Although cleared by a grand jury and lie detector testing, suspicion followed both John and Patsy Ramsey regarding JonBenet's death.

According to the family attorney Lin Wood, "I think people will remember Patsy as being someone who was falsely accused in connection with the death of her daughter when she should be remembered for being an incredibly loving mother, wonderful wife, and person who showed great courage in fighting a vicious disease over the last many years." Patsy Ramsey was 49.

2. I don't get this last person's comments? you see now why no future was invested in this case? what do you mean? cause the authorities ivestigiating the case were psychic and knew her mother was going to die 9 and a half years after jonbenet's death so they just thought " oh well, we won't puruse this very hard"?? i just don't get what you are trying to say there. i believe with all my heart that patsy ramsey killed jonbenet. i think the little girl wet her bed in the middle of the night and required attention and a frazzled/frustrated mother drug her by her arm into the bathroom and flung her onto the marble floor where she hit her head and died from blunt force trauma. the strangulation was a cover up. everything was a coverup. the mother was guilty. the guilt finally got to her and she succumbed to cancer. that's my take on it.

4. Wow Lisa! I bet you're eating your words now huh? What a vicious thing to say about someone when you don't know the truth. The poor woman probrobly got cancer from being so eaten up with her daughters death and from being horribly accused from people like you. I hope nothing like this ever happens to you. May Patsy Ramsey rest in peace now.

5. As you are probably aware, the killer is not related to the Ramsey family. If you would have listen to the evidence against the Ramseys you would not be accusing the mother. The most suspision was on the brother who everyone protected. God bless Patsy and JonBenet.

6. What an ignorant comment, Just shows you how many sick, Judgemental minds abound in society. patsy had the worse female cancer possible, and died..have some freakin respect...God bless you Patsy, Jon Benet. you are together at last...and my respects to the Ramsey family.
