How does nanochem work? For starters, it’s very tiny. For lots of applications today, that’s a prerequisite. The miracle surgeries performed in the most modernly equipped hospitals wouldn’t be possible without the use of almost invisible microprocessors. The wonder drugs that we will see in the next few years were unimaginable less than a decade ago. You can stop smoking, practice birth control and regulate your hormonal level with just a tiny patch. It is almost funny, if you think of a band-aid solution, except that all this work takes place in the realm of nanotechnology, or modern science at its smallest stage.
The standard unit of measurement, a nanometer, is a billionth of a meter – barely the size of 10 hydrogen atoms in a row. In this tiny universe, entire dramas can unfold on the tip of a pin! Why so small? Researchers have discovered that at this nano-scale (from the Greek word dwarf), matter often behaves very differently. Familiar materials, from amino-acids to vitamins, display startling and unexpected results due to the incredibly fast way that they are accepted by our metabolism.
What’s more, researchers have found that since topical creams formulated using nanochem spend less time on the skin’s surface (a lot less), and therefore penetrate and work faster – providing substantial results.

Targeted Delivery.
In nanochem, smaller is better. Another benefit: no “clumping” of the active ingredient with the heavy waxes and oils used in the conventional cosmetic products of today.
