Zach Urlocker lost his mother Mary to ovarian cancer on July 4th. During the last year of Mary's struggles and challenges in her fight against ovarian cancer, Zach blogged Tuesdays With Mary as a way to keep family and friends informed of his mother's progress. He also wanted to be a resource for other families facing ovarian cancer. In a recent post, Zach shares that shortly after his mother died, the family discovered a diary. 1. I give you this one thought to keep,
I am still with you...I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints in the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet
birds in circling flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone....
I am with you still....
In each new dawn.
May God watch over you and your children.
