3. Farrah was my childhood Idol and I still follow her career and collect memorabilia of her to this day. I so wish her all the best. She is a true American Icon and America's Angel.

4. My thoughts and prayers go out to Farrah and her loved ones. I was recently diagnosed with the same cancer (7/23 age 46). The therapy/treatments are painful and debilitating. I wish Farrah only the best in beating this cancer and enjoying a complete recovery.

5. Farrah recently lost her older sister to cancer. And in 1980 she did a public service poster and commercial for the American Cancer Society. It encouraged women to get regular checkup's. The slogan was "If youv'e got your health, youv'e got it all!" They featured Farrah backpacking in the woods. I just made a poster size copy for my friend who is the health teacher in our school. She is using it for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Farrah's recent diagnosis has made it a little more serious and has opened up more discussion on the issue.

HAVE FAITH FARRAH..I AM A TERMINAL COLON CANCER SURVIVOR, LEVEL 4..I WAS DIAGNOSED IN SEPT OF 1998, WITH OUT MUCH CHANCE OF SURVIVING..I ALSO HAD A CANCEROUS TUMOR ON MY UTERUS WHICH WAS INVADING MY WOMB..I WENT THRU THE RADIATION AND CHEMO, HAD 7 OPERATIONS, IN THE BEGINNING I ALSO A HAD A COLOSTOMY FOR A YEAR..WHICH THEY WERE ABLE TO RE- ATTACH...AS OF 2001 I HAVE BEEN CANCER FREE!!! Please get ahold of fellow stars who eat only organic raw foods to learn more about it. I personally know raw foodists who have cured themselves of terminal cancer as well as many other life-threatening diseases. Thousands of people cure themselves all the time. This does not make mainstream news as there's an awful lot of money to be made in the medical industry (not to mention a lot of mistakes - medical mistakes are the *third* leading cause of death in our country!!!) Please at least look into it. Your body doesn't need anything unnatural, and certainly DOESN'T need radiation!!

15. So sad to hear Farah has colon cancer. Did she skip her colonoscopy at 50? So many of us need to be on the alter to simple medical conditions that are silent indicators of colon cancer.. you don't have to be Farah's age to get it check out

17. The latest PEOPLE magazine is reporting that Farrah doesn't have colon cancer, but cancer of the anus, something that according to PEOPLE affects only about 4400 people a year.

I was a very shy teenage girl and would look at pictures of Farrah and think she was the epitome of beauty and glamour.It was her beautiful hair that made me decide to change the way I looked which changed my self esteem and started a chain reaction. Farrah I grew up in the 70's and you were an instrumental part of my teen years and I thank you. I hope you get well, my prayers are with you. I am also a lupus patient at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore Maryland and they have so many state of the art treatments and physicians. If you are going for traditional medicine treatment,try looking there for a solution.
