Earlier this month, Farrah Fawcett successfully completed six weeks of treatment for anal cancer and is reported to be doing very well. According to her publicist Mike Pingel, "The outlook is really good and her spirits are high." Yesterday, in her first public appearance since treatment, she was seen Christmas shopping and dining out in Beverly Hills with Ryan O'Neal.
On the recently launched Farrah Fawcett website to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Charlie's Angels, she plans to reach out to cancer survivors with support in surviving cancer -- which will include tips on hair and skin from a woman famous for fabulous hair.
Fawcett has posted a personal thank you note to her fans for the cards and letters of encouragement over the past few months. In it she states she is happy that the hardest part is over, adding that time will be the accurate test in surviving cancer. She ends her note with, "Until then, I wanted to thank you all and wish you and your families a Happy and Healthy New Year. Love, Farrah."
We wish the same for Farrah. Farrah Fawcett's official website is here.

1. I am so very happy for Ms. Fawcett!
I too have cancer, mine was hereditary and consist of my whole colon and rectum, I was 36 yrs old at the time, my father died at 40 from the same thing and my brother is a surviver of stage 4 of the same thing.
I am glad Farrah had the finance for her treatment, my brother and I were both fired from our jobs and loosing our health care making it very hard to get life saving surgery and treatments, even Med-i-Cal (california state health agency) turned me down for heath care for making 1,600K a month on State Disability which is not much in the Bay Area of California as you well may know.
I would love to she Ms.Fawcett or someone start a real help service for people with intestinal type cancers that have no health care or lost their health care when their job has fired them.
I love Ms.Fawcett, I have always looked up to her and have met her briefly in Houston at a tennis benefit, I was in my teens and after meeting her I gave up my "Tomboy" ways which made my mom very happy!
I pray for Ms.Fawcett every night, I am sure she do fine, Up beat out look is the key Ms.Fawcett and you have that!
God bless you Honey and take care.
