The Internet continues to be a first source of health information, including information about cancer, according to a new National Cancer Institute report. The study included a telephone survey, and was last conducted in 2003. Since that time, the use of the Internet for cancer information remained unchanged, however there was an increase in people using the Internet to e-mail their physicians. However, people's trust in what they find on their Internet searches has declined slightly according to the report.
Women were more likely to search for cancer information from all sources than men.

1. I wish had used it after I found out about my testicular cancer in the summer of 2006. Oh well, now I'm helping people now with my blog about it. I wonder why us men folk are nervous and shy about looking this up online? Maybe we are little nervous about it?
