Sunday in the cancer blogging community

Zach blogs at Tuesdays with Mary about All My Wife Wanted, pointing readers to a touching story in the Belfast Telegraph entitled "All my wife wanted was to see her little girl grow up."

Amanda of Cancer. it's not just an astrological sign anymore blogs The Leukemia's Back, about her husband Eric being diagnosed with leukemia - again. Amanda and Eric have been married for almost two years, although they have been together for eight years. During their time together, Eric has had two occurrences of acute lymphocytic leukemia. Just when they thought, maybe, just maybe, they were on the other side of his cancer, it's back.

Cary of Cancer News Watch blogs The War On Cancer Takes A Back Seat To The War In Iraq in which he asks, "Think the US has its priorities straight? Consider that the entire proposed budget for the National Cancer Institute next year will be about the same amount of money we are currently spending on a few weeks worth of destruction in Iraq." Cary is caregiver to his wife, who was diagnosed with cancer shortly after they were married. In another post, Cary posts The Anger Is Eating Me From The Inside about the many reasons why he hates cancer and why sometimes it’s all just too much.

Trish, at Blogging For A Cause blogs At a Loss for Words reflectively when she says "I want to say something, anything, to make the pain go away. But what can I say? “Hang in there”? I just don’t know what to say. I feel so impotent. I’m just at a loss for words. I want to be there, to help. But how?" Trish, Cary, Amanda, Zach, and many other bright lights in the cancer blogging community continue to blog, continue to be there, even when blogging cancer reality is almost too painful for words, even when no one knows what to say. If you have a moment, stop by and let them know they are not alone.
