Cass Brown, diagnosed with colon cancer six years ago, blogs CancerGiggles with open honesty because he believes that when you show people the respect of being honest with them, they are honest with you. Brown is not a big fan of small secrets and untruths, and frankly, when you may be facing death, there is no time for lies. Brown has a humorous insight and perspective when it comes to being a colon cancer survivor. He introduces the CancerGiggles blog as an idiot's guide to accepting, living with, laughing at and dying from cancer. As Brown says, "I could have written some beautifully crafted, grammatically correct essays but I hope you will understand, that when I say "I don't have a lot of time" I mean it far more literally than you do."

The CancerGiggles blog has become a book, inspired by the blogging he has done for the last two years. Brown reminds us, as he continues to blog about colon cancer survivorship, to laugh and love most, when the going gets most serious.
