of Singapore research study concludes that estrogen-progestin hormone replacement therapy, HRT, when taken for more than
five years, puts a woman at a two-fold higher risk of
developing lobular breast cancer or tubular cancer, compared with women who did not use hormone therapy. HRT is
typically prescribed to women for relief from the symptoms of hot flushes, night sweats, palpitations, sleep problems,
