Lee National Denim Day is one of the largest single-day fundraisers for breast cancer. In October, Lee Jeans encourages millions of people nationwide to slip into their favorite jeans and make a $5 donation to support the fight against breast cancer.

Through the Women's Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Lee National Denim Day will support groundbreaking early detection and treatment research at leading cancer centers and provide community breast cancer education services nationwide.

The L Word: Showtime series sexy and hip fashion

"L"ements of Style will feature a clothing line of hip sexy apparel and accessories created by wearable couture designer Laura Dahl, Tel Aviv handbag designer Tali Epstein Segal (TES), jewelry designer Udi Behr, jeans from Honey Labrador, denim from Blue Cult, and handbags by Emmy-nominated costume designer Cate Adair. Select pieces will be sold as numbered limited editions with 100 percent of profits being donated to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.

NBC's The Office cast video and celebrity jean auction for breast cancer

Today is Lee National Denim Day, the world's largest single-day fundraising campaign for breast cancer, which encourages millions of women and men nationwide to wear their favorite jeans and make a $5 donation to support breast cancer research, education and outreach.

In addition to celebrity spokesperson Pierce Brosnan's campaign efforts, cast members Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and B.J. Novak of NBC's The Office have appeared in a Lee National Denim Day public service announcement (PSA) supporting the cause in the usual slant of dark comedy they employ at Dunder-Mifflin each week during the award-winning show. Celebrities Heidi Klum, Kate Bosworth, Don Cheadle, Brandon Routh, Kerry Washington, Gabrielle Union, Ellen Pompeo, Ginnifer Goodwin, Ben Stiller, Julianne Moore, Richie Sambora, The Fray, Cheyenne Kimball, BJ Novak, Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson, and John Krasinski have decorated jean pockets for an auction to benefit Lee National Denim Day in support of Women's Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Last year, more than 29,000 companies participated in the Lee National Denim Day fundraiser, raising more than $8.6 million dollars. In the last twenty years, the event has raised more than $61 million dollars in support of breast cancer programs.

For the 11th annual National Denim Day, Lee Jeans is joining together with the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund. The Women's Cancer Research Fund was established to support research, education, and outreach programs for more effective approaches to the early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of all women's cancers. Honorary chairs include Kate Capshaw and Rita Wilson.
