Last year on their 18th anniversary, Becky -at Gather Your Ideas- and her
husband forgot about their big day until nearly dinner time. Life and all the business that accompanies the everyday
grind had gotten in the way of the memory. However, this year they have big plans for their 19th anniversary. They will
be on a cruise ship touring the Pacific Northwest all the way up to British Columbia. They have upgraded from
regular class to luxury accommodations which will include room service and beautiful views of the ocean. This is all in
celebration of the fact that by their anniversary date Becky will have completed her chemotherapy and be well on the
road to recovery from her uterine cancer. Sine December Becky has been through surgery and has recently begun her
chemo treatments. As grueling as these sound, she remains optimistic and enthused as she discusses her knitting
projects, her cats and the amazing, organic meals she and her husband prepare and enjoy together. Stop by to

New traditions for after the chemotherapy

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are
expecting the birth of their first baby together in a few months. Marcheline Bertrand, Jolie's mother, is gravely ill
with terminal uterine cancer and not expected to live much longer. Bertrand has asked her daughter to give birth in
France, where Bertrand was born, to maintain
a "circle of life." But her mother will not be in France for the birth of her grandchild. Bertrand is in
Los Angeles California. Reports say Jolie father, actor Jon Voight, Jolie and Pitt, make regular visits to the hospital
where Bertrand is being treated. Jolie is in a difficult position. Do you honor the dying wishes of your mother, if it means you may miss precious last moments with her before she dies? Or do you ignore what your mother wants, so that you can be with her and share with her, the birth of your child? Jolie will need to decide soon. What would you do?
Blogger from The Joplin Globe on uterine cancer
A daring and
open interpretation of the battle against uterine cancer is told through the eyes of a reporter for the Joplin Globe. Carol Stark's lamentations are all honest and
eye-opening. Not being able to think clearly due to chemotherapy as she fights this daunting cancer is almost laughable
in her words. It is enjoyable to hear her realistic account of cutting her hair. I hope she continues her writing. I
thoroughly enjoy her "motsy". I also hope she had a good week-end.
